Winton Test & Tune Day!

Hey all, 

As some of you probably know. Winton has Test and Tune days most fridays. A number of Club members are planning on heading up for the day on the 24th of November. It is about $150 and you usualy get about 20 laps give or take. They put you into similar class vehicles to keep the flow going well. All welcome. 

We are still alive!

Hi all,

Long time between updates though just wanted to reaffirm that our website is still alive and well and we have actually had a number of people register their interest in joining the club through the website in the last couple of months. This is great to see and we appreciate you telling your friends about us and the no fuss / low cost membership model we adopt.

We will try and update this a bit more frequently in the meantime if you have content to add or pics etc please let us know!

Annual Club BBQ!

Hey All,

  It has been a quiet year this year for the club but it has been a busy year for some.

  There have been a few member leave the club and move on to other hobbies which has made room for some new members to bring a new assortment of vehicles with them to keep things interesting.

  This year we are going to get in early for the Christmas BBQ and its going to be held on the 27th November. December is such as busy time for most and hopefully this will allow a few more of you to attend the BBQ. It is always a great attendance and a great day.

    As the President of the South Side Motorsport Club I would like to invite all members to a Christmas BBQ at Jells Park on the Sunday 27-11-16.  It will be held from 11:00 until 1:00 but I’m sure a few will stay a bit longer.  As with most club meets the whole family is welcome and we would love to see the cars out there if the weather is suitable.

    A basic bbq/nibbles will be provided so please RSVP so we can cater appropriately.

If you do not RSVP don’t let that stop you turning up at the last minute, the more the merrier.

 

    As Always the club does not hold a lot of events but the activity between members is still going strong and feeding our love of all things with an engine.

Winton Test & Tune Days!

For those of you that don’t know Winton Raceway have Test & Tune days most fridays. $150 for all day access.

  • AASA Club Racing licence or higher.  (You can generally get these on the day).
  • CAMS L2S licence or higher.
  • Motorcycle Australia competition licence (for all Motorcycle Test and Tune days).

Some of the SSMC crew are heading their this Friday the 8th of July.
